Privacy Policy

1. General Information

Bluemind Bilisim LTD ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Sounda application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data with transparency and care. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Sounda.

We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at hello@bluemind.agency.

2. Health Disclaimer

Sounda is designed for relaxation and general wellness purposes only. The content available in the app — including all audio sessions, journeys, and moments — does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have any health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. Do not use Sounda as a substitute for professional medical guidance.

3. What Data Do We Collect and Why?

3a. Information Collected During Download

When you download Sounda from the Apple App Store, Apple processes certain information in accordance with their own privacy policy. We do not receive personally identifiable information from Apple as part of the download process.

3b. Guest Access

You can use Sounda as a guest without creating an account. In this mode, no personal data is required or collected from you. Your preferences and progress may be stored locally on your device.

3c. Account Registration (Premium)

If you choose to create a premium account, we collect the following personal information:

  • First name and last name
  • Email address

The legal basis for processing this data is the performance of a contract with you, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

3d. Automatically Collected Data

When you use the app, we may automatically collect certain technical information, including:

  • Device model and type
  • Operating system version
  • IP address

This information is used to ensure the proper functioning of the app and to improve our services.

3e. Subscription and Payment

Subscription purchases are processed entirely through Apple Pay and Apple's in-app purchase system. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment card information or any other sensitive payment details. The legal basis for processing subscription-related data is the performance of a contract with you, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

3f. Usage Analytics

We use Mixpanel to collect aggregated, non-identifiable analytics data about how users interact with the app. This data helps us understand feature usage and improve the Sounda experience. We do not use Mixpanel for cross-app tracking, and no data is shared with third parties for advertising purposes. Mixpanel participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 4. Tracking and App Transparency (ATT)

Sounda does not engage in cross-app or cross-site tracking. We do not track your activity across other apps or websites owned by third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Any App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission prompt is optional, and declining it will not affect your ability to use any feature of the app.

5. Where We Store Your Data

Your personal data is stored on secure servers with appropriate technical and organisational measures in place to protect it against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, such transfers comply with applicable data protection requirements, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where relevant.

6. How Long We Store Your Data

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by applicable law. If you are a premium user and wish to have your data deleted, you can do so at any time by navigating to Profile → Settings → Delete Account within the app. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR (EU/EEA residents):

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR) — You have the right to obtain a copy of your personal data.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) — You have the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) — You have the right to request deletion of your personal data.
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) — You have the right to request that we limit how we use your data.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) — You have the right to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR) — You have the right to object to processing of your personal data.
  • Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR) — You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Under CCPA (California residents):

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:

  • Right to know — You have the right to know what personal information we collect about you.
  • Right to access — You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to deletion — You have the right to request deletion of your personal information.
  • Right to opt-out of sale — We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

8. Third-Party Services

Sounda integrates the following third-party services:

  • Apple Pay — Used for processing subscription payments. Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
  • Mixpanel — Used for aggregated usage analytics to help us improve the app.

These services may have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

9. Children's Privacy

Sounda is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@bluemind.agency and we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify users through the app where appropriate. The current version of this Privacy Policy is always available in the app and on our website.
